Day 01: Airport pick up and hotel in Hanoi (Meals: No)
Pickup from the Noi Bai airport (in Hanoi) and transfer in private car to the hotel. Stay overnight at the central of Hanoi city and free to discover Hanoi Old Quarter Area. Flight is not included and please provide us your flight info for this pick-up service.
Day 02: Hanoi – Mai Chau (150km) (Meal: B, L, D)
Departing from Hanoi, we cross the western edge of the Red River Delta with lively scenery of the countryside. After 150 km, the road gradually ascends uphill through the region of the Muong ethnic and suddenly it goes up steep mountains and view of the lush valley opens wider and wider. We stop for admiring the marvelous panorama scenery before descending to the valley and arrive in a large village of the Thai ethnic group. It is well organized and prosperous village as many others in the region with wooden houses on stilts standing in lines. All the houses are spacious with palm leaf roof and bamboo slat floor; the kitchen is set at one end of the house.
Although living in the mountainous region, The Thai people always choose the low land with permanent sources of water for rice intensive farming. Thai women are famous for their weaving and embroidering skill to make brocade.
We spent the rest of the day walking and exploring villages, meeting local doing their everyday’ works and experiencing wonderful hospitality of the Thai people.
Most interesting of all is the overnight stay in a villager’s house, attending the traditional dance performed by the Thai people, a truly remarkable and unforgettable event. Hotel in Mai Chau for 1 night: 4 star resort (Mai Chau Ecolodge).
Day 03: Mai Chau – Nghia Lo (230km) (Meal: B, L, D)
The terrain changes today as we drive to Nghia Lo, Starting from Mai Chau at early morning ( Around 07.30 A.M). Stop to visit the hamlets scattered around the Muong minority Yen Chau and Moc Chau.. Spending about 09 hours driving and you will have lunch along the way at a local restaurant with simple foods. Arriving in Nghia Lo at the late afternoon, a pretty mountainous town, check in hotel and having dinner. Overnight at hotel in Nghia Lo Town.
Day 04: Nghia Lo – Mu Cang Chai (100km) (Meal: B, L, D)
Have breafast. Crossing Cao Pha Pass on the bumpy road and visiting bee-growing farm and some minority groups on the way until you get to Mu Cang Chai town. Enjoy and the beauty of the Mu Cang Chai terraced rice fields as weel as the unique cultural character of the Mong ethnic minority group in Yen Bai. Overnight at hotel in Mu CangChai Town.
Day 05: Mu Cang Chai – Sapa – Ban Ho village - Sapa (200km) (Meal: B, L)
From Mu Cang Chai town, Taking tours to visit villages of Muong Khoa, Muong Kim and Na Kim where you can see very colorful minority groups .car take cross Tram Ton Pass where you can enjoy freshest and cool air and nice landscapes. You take one of the most spectacular roads in northern Vietnam to get to Sapa . Before arriving Sapa town, you will take your time to Visit Ban Ho Village, short time trekking and visiting. Overnight at hotel in Sapa Town.
Day 06: Sapa – Bac Ha market (110km) (Meal: B, L, D) – Only on Sunday.
6.15 – 7.00: Have breakfast at hotel and prepare all your luggage for Bac Ha market
7.00 – 14.00: Take 3 hours drive to Bac Ha Town – home of Flower H’Mong ethnic People
• Visit Bac Ha market – the most typical weekly market with inhabitants of lots of Ethnic People.
• Have lunch at local restaurant
• A short walk to Hoang A Tuong’s palace which was built in 1914 with French – Viet architecture and visit “Pho” village of Flower H’Mong People. Trekking distance is about 4 kms and it lasts for 2 hours
15.00 Check in hotel in Bac ha Town. Enjoy your free time and overnight in Bac Ha
Day 07: Bac Ha – Hoang Su Phi (70km) (Meal: B, L, D)
Upon leaving Bac Ha we set off on a full day journey through Sin Man and Hoang Su. The rough but scenic route traverse a dense jungle before crossing over a pass and dropping down to Sin Man. This day is a real challenge for our driver as we travel by winding roads with many uphill and down hill drives. Along the way we may encounter the Nung Ing, Tay, Red Dao, Dao Ao Dai, La Chi and Co Lao, just some of the many hill tribe groups who have settled there. Overnight at guest house in Hoang Su Phi Town.
Day 08: Hoang Su Phi - Ha Giang city (90km) (Meal: B, L, D)
Today, take your time at the morning with sunrise at Hoang Su Phi Town. Then departu for Ha Giang City. Along the way, stop over at some beautiful place for taking photos. Having lunch along the way.
Arrive Ha Giang at the afternoon. Dinner and overnight in Ha Giang.
Day 09: Ha Giang city – Quan Ba – Dong Van (145km) (Meal: B, L, D)
The remote region of Dong Van and Meo Vac is a land of rugged mountains and beautiful hill villages which are unchanged for centuries. Today we head north west out of Ha Giang Town towards this northernmost tip of Vietnam. Having lunch at Quan Ba Town and taking photos of twin hills. Then continue to Dong Van Town. Along the way you can see the hill tribe people's colorful costumes and the majestic mountainous scenery make this. Dinner and overnight in Dong Van.
Day 10: Dong Van – Ma Pi Leng pass – Meo Vac – Cao Bang (B, L, D)
The ethnic minority people are frequently seen in this hill town and small vendors along the street sell local textiles and handicraft. We have time to visit Dong Van Town before continuing to Meo Vac which is conquered by the Lo Lo and Pu Peo ethnic minority people. They still retain their age old cultural traditions and are recognisably distinct from each other by their dress.The remoteness and the simple lifestyle of local people are a highlight of Meo Vac although conditions are very basic. On the way, we will stop at Ma Pi Leng Pass for the best view of mountainous area. Having lunch at Bảo
Lam town on the way to Cao Bang. Overnight in Cao Bang.
Day 11: Cao Bang – Ha Noi (Meals: B/L)
After breakfast, enjoy a full day drive back to Hanoi. Lunch will be provided en route. Arrive back in Hanoi around mid-afternoon. Having lunch along the way in local restaurant.
Arrive Hanoi at the evening time, check in hotel and overnight in Hanoi.
Day 12: Airport transfer - departure (Meals: B)
This day you will free in Hanoi until transfer to the airport. Trip end
