THIEN PHUOC ORPHANAGE HOME CHARITY TOUR
Thien Phuoc was established in 2001, and now caters for more than 120 children. It is non-governmental organization (N.G.O) acting under the Catholic Committee of Ho Chi Minh City. It is a residential centre providing healthcare, rehabilitation and education.
What they are doing?
They provide daily physiotherapy sessions to improve the children’s muscular function and flexibility.
They have a weekly visit from a counselor who works with children and staff.
They teach children how to care for themselves and others.
They provide a range of activities to educate and entertain the children, including play-sessions, singing and dancing.
They encourage volunteers and visitors to come and meet the children, and learn about living with a disability.
They organize day-trips to give the children access to a wide range of interesting and stimulating activities.
They provide training for our staff at local hospitals. They also receive regular updates and further training from visiting health-care experts.

A.M After breakfast, leave Ho Chi Minh for Cu Chi tunnels. Here you will have the opportunity to witness how rice paper is made and to explore the amazing labyrinth of tunnels used by the guerrillas during the war. Lunch at local restaurant.

P.M Thereafter, visit the Thien Phuoc Orphanage Home & do some charity works (playing with the children, cleaning the centre, & yard and making donations). Back to Ho Chi Minh City. Enjoy water puppet show at Golden Dragon theatre. Dinner at local restaurant.
