Brief about Bat Trang village
Bat Trang, a small village in the north of Vietnam, is about 13 kilometers south east of Hanoi center, on the other side of Chuong Duong bridge. Why is its name popular to most tourists to northern Vietnam? The answer is its ever famous ceramic and pottery products of high quality. If you have known about Vietnam, you may not be surprised that Bat Trang’s vases, bowls, dishes, and many other kinds of ceramic products have been exported worldwide. Itinerary
We will pick you up at the hotel for a 1-hour car ride heading northeast of Hanoi on the left bank of the Red River to Bat Trang Village. The village is surrounded by fertile farmland and well known for its beautiful ceramics. Bat Trang is filled with wall-to-wall shops selling ancient and modern ceramics. It is not only a booming business, but the trade is helping to keep the traditional crafts alive.

Return to Hanoi.
